The Nottaway Newts Swim Team is a summer league team for swimmers ages 4-18, and your family must belong to Nottaway Swim Club to participate. Our season runs from late April/early May through the end of June each summer. Our coaches welcome swimmers of all ability levels, from those who only swim for fun in the summer to those who have a passion for year-round swimming. Coaches work on teaching correct stroke technique in all four strokes, swimming skills like dives and turns, and improving endurance. The coaches also emphasize teaching the value of sportsmanship and team spirit - all in a fun and friendly environment. Swimmers compete in five swim meets against other teams in the Atlanta Swim Association league on Tuesday nights.

Swimmers are divided into practice groups at the head coach's discretion based on skill level and age (see Team Info page for more details).

Summer league swimming runs smoothly when every family helps out. Parents are an integral part of the success of the team as the Newts are a volunteer run organization. Thank you for your support!
